Like the messages that Peter shared in Acts 3 and 4, our message is Jesus, the cross, the resurrection, and the goodness of God in salvation and healing.
It’s not how bad a person is, or what God has in store for the nonbeliever. These are realities, but they’re not our message.
It’s not “God wants us to be good, nice, and fair, and those people go to heaven.” Yes, you can be moral without being a believer, but it doesn’t make you right with God.
It’s not “God created the world and wants us to be happy in it.” Yes, He created it, and He turned it over to us to manage, even as He managed the rest of the universe. His goal was fellowship and family with us, not our happiness.
